Mika Performs at Eurovision 2022

with Studio Job pieces on stage

In creating his latest staging masterpiece Mika showcases some classic and recent pieces by Studio Job at Eurovision. Job Smeets, a long time friend and collaborator has been designing and creating iconic pieces for Mika’s tours and TV shows for nearly a decade. Performing a medley of some of his biggest hits and new song Yo Yo at the Eurovision song festival held in Turin, Mika created a sea of heart printed flags giving every audience member one, the original design conceived by Studio Job was used for his theme of ‘Love’ for his performance at the event.

“The entire arena, every single person, including all the different artists and delegations, were given the same flag in their hand. Not the flag of a country, but for the first time at Eurovision, the flag of love. A flag with a red heart. All of us waving it the air together, on air, at the grand final of Eurovision.” – Mika, via Instagram

“This is an incredible moment for Mika, not many people can say they had their best show ever in front of almost 200 million people. It feels  like the ten years of working together was the preparation for this ultimate show’ explains Job Smeets.
