Studio Job - TAOAM Cover & Chocolate Collab

Studio Job was founded in 1998 by Job Smeets in the renaissance spirit, combining traditional and modern techniques to produce once-in-a-lifetime objects. At once highly specific and yet entirely universal, personally expressive and yet experimental, Studio Job has crafted a body of work that draws upon classical, popular and contemporary design and highly visual and sculptural art.

The latest issue of TAOAM magazine and the special edition chocolate collaboration with Julius Persoone launched at the cover star Studio Job’s Tilburg atelier this month. Yves Creutz of asset management firm Creutz & Partners explains, “The cover, designed by Studio Job, embodies the bold and distinctive spirit that defines TAOAM and those who inspire it.”
The illustration of ‘Dresden,’ a monumental work currently underway at Studio Job, wraps the latest issue of the magazine with its story of destruction and renewal . Alongside the magazine, their clients receive what seems to be a classic matchbox from which they would be able to set the magazine alight. However, despite the functional strike strip for matches, inside is an array of handmade chocolate, the result of a special collaboration between Creutz & Partners and Julius Persoone as a limited edition object to accompany TAOAM Magazine No. 2.
The cutting-edge culinary-inspired flavours include: Bread in Butter; Grilled Leek, Beurre Blanc Ganache and Smoky Piedmont Hazelnut Salt; Mandarin and Tomato; and The Jungle, a flavour inspired by a space in Creutz & Partners headquarters.
“The edition brings together remarkable voices including Lena Foeteler, Max Eberl, Irina Moons, Julius Persoone, Kaspar Hamacher and Marcelo Ballardin, among others. These are individuals whose work resonates with values we appreciate: authenticity, precision and a willingness to challenge expectations.” explains Creutz and Partners.
TAOAM Magazine No. 2 is exclusively available to clients and close partners of Creutz & Partners.
