Moonlander by Job & Ganci Argenterie

As part of the Dippia Firma project artist Job Smeets was asked to join forces with historical silversmith Ganci Argenterie to collaborate on a unique exceptional piece, they created ‘Moonlander’ designed by Job and exquisitely crafted by the Milan-based atelier Ganci Argenterie.

“For me the tea service is the quintessence of silverware, steeped in history. The Moonlander teapot is more than just a sculpture; it’s a functional work of art brimming with expressiveness that challenged the skills of its creators. I was inspired by Malevich’s silver teapot to venture into the realm of asymmetrical designs. The original space-craft Moonlander was crafted with practicality in mind, without worrying about the aesthetic result. Yet stands out as a striking symbol of futurism and liberation”. (JOB SMEETS)
