Tit Lamp
These hand-blown Murano glass and a gold-plated light fittings were designed by Studio Job for historic Italian historic manufacturer Vennini as part of their ‘Mae West’ series. The two types, straight tit lamp hangs from the ceiling, while the tilted version droops across walls each in slightly differing, as each piece is hand blown.

The idea for the 'Tit Lamp' came from Job's visit to the Italian Murano glass blowing factory, "I needed new lights quickly, and saw the glassblowers had nude magazine pin-ups on the wall of the workshop, so I thought the guys would be motivated to make them fast if they were making women's tits"
Freud associated the breast with excess, as that which is necessary but exceeds what is needed. Studio Job have gone beyond the 'good' taste of gentlemen's clubs, transforming the room into a dream landscape in which fantasy and functionality come together.
